What were the good points of each teacher?

The first discussion topic was: What were the good points--ideas
that you would add to your teaching of ideas that you think
should be part of the standard of teaching for CBF--that you got
from listening to all the presentations?
       So far, ideas have been:
       1. Teaching themes across the entire CBF curriculum. The books
"Legacy Paths" and "Raising a Modern Day Joseph" came up for
good themes. Goals are good but it seems they have to be
customized to the level of the class--perhaps a set of CBF goals
and we work on what is lacking in our class.
       2. Making a relationship with the kids, seeing them as "our
kids" having a shepherd heart for them instead of just being a
       teacher.
       3. Parental involvement--cp4cc for CBF. But how do we get
parents to come? We decided I would email parents if anyone
would be willing to spearhead this.
       4. Take it home questions: Questions kids have to sit down and
discuss with their parents, interviews they could do with their
       parents.
       5. More preparation/Routine for teachers, structure.
       6. Get together more often.
       7. Testimony writing - Get parents signature so they will work
together with their kids on their testimony.
       8. True and False questions where students have to defend their
       answers to develop critical thinking.
       9. Outside class fellowship. To take it a step further, visits
to prisons, homeless shelters, etc. to develop mission and spend
       time together doing Christian work.

Positive reinforcement. How to encourage kids "you are the
best!" Rather, than being strict and mean. How can we do this?
