I like Mexican food too but I don't really have a favorite
       Mexican restaurant at the moment.
I guess the best one on the coast here would be "los tres
       amigos".

This is nice. A way to get to know a little about one
       another. Here's me:
Favorite things to do: Read, compose and produce songs, sing,
dance, snuggling with grandchildren, decorate for parties, draw,
write Biblical topics, fellowship with family and Brethren in
       my home…..I’m never bored!
Animal lover or not: Yes, but I do not have any pets. My
favorite….horses….although, the last time I was on a horse was
at my grandfather farm when I was 3, but I admire their grace,
       strength and beauty.
Favorite beverage: Pineapple Juice, but I like my Coquito…it’s
a coconut creamed rum drink very popular in Puerto Rico.
Favorite Restaurant: Cabana…..a Cuban restaurant in South
Street Seaport in NY. They have a dish called “Ropa Vieja”,
basically thin sliced green plantains with striped skirt
steak…..yummy. It’s closed now due to damages from hurricane
       Sandy.
Last movie watched: Last night I watched “Paradise Road” (1997)
with Glenn Close. A 20th Century Period Drama.
Best Date Ever: After 4 years of being widowed I decided to
accept a date from a friend who hounded me for years. He took
me to a museum and dinner afterwards. I was pleasantly surprise
that I was enjoying myself after all, but that was not the best
date. It was a Sunday that he took me to a wildlife
conservation park, he managed to have it open only for us and we
were given an exclusive tour. I held animals like owls, eagles,
a baby armadillo, chinchillas…..it was beautiful and then he
took me to dinner and arts supply shopping. Too bad things
didn't work out.....I ended the relationship by lumping his
forehead with an egg size bump...LOL!
If I could do anything on earth what would I do: I would love
to fly, but since I don’t do well with height it would be to
publish a book and own a Graphic business or a music studio.

       This is great, Carmen.
You are so creative! You have so many outlets there isn't any
room to be bored. I like to write Christian Fiction. I wrote one
that I was going to self-publish, but it's stuck on my old
computer. I replaced my desktop with a laptop and neglected to
get my files off at that time. I didn't think that would be a
problem, but when I put the computer back up, it's not working.
I'm going to take it to the shop and see if they can retrieve my
       files.
I was cracking up laughing at the lump on his head. I'm sure it
       was necessary.
That date was awesome. The effort is what counts. It means they
actually thought it, and those are always the best dates.

       I missed her.
       I'm glad she's back.

it will start picking up slowly and surely.
all we have to do is stay the course and stay positive.
and we will always do the right thing at Camelot.
these things simply take time. rome was not built in a day or
even a year. or even in several years.

       Carmen ***WAVES BACK***
Thank you Camelot friends. I had a some projects and was really
       busy.
Lady TT, with the advance technology I'm sure your work can be
retrieve. The same thing happened to me, but during that time
we had no external drives...and the internet was fairly new...I
lost everything. I save my work now in many places......email
your work to yourself (I use google drive, dropbox) print your
work as you go along, save it in your PC and external drive,
make a CDR copy and if you have a USB flashdrive save it there
as well. I look forward to buying one of your books, best of
       many blessing to you.
As far as the lump...yes, he deserved that and if my brother had
not stopped me, he would have gotten 2 lumps
instead....LOL....he chased me for 3 years, talking about how
much he was in love with me and wanted to marry me. I prayed
for God to reveal to me if this was according to His will and I
had a dream where many things were revealed to me. The
following day I learned that he was keeping company with his
ex....and so I dumped and lumped him. Thank God! I know my
worth and when you have the best, it's impossible to accept
       anything less.

       Carmen,
It appears you are not only creative, but also very smart. You
are talking to a person who can't even post images from Facebook
on this site. It's weird. I can post from YouTube, but not
       facebook.
The problem with the computer is that when I set it back up you
can't see anything on the screen. I thought the monitor had gone
bad so I had my son get another of the three monitors that we
had in the basement. The second one didn't work either. He said
it was the computer and not the monitor.
So, last night I was talking to a friend and she's so good. She
not only writes her books, she makes her own covers, does the
zip thing and everything. I was telling her how weird it was and
did she think I could get my books off of there.
She said that it wasn't weird, but that when I dismantled it,
sometimes the software corrupts the hard drive. She also said
that it wasn't impossible to retrieve and any computer guy who
knew what they were doing could get it for me.
Only thing is she lives in California and I live in the Midwest,
       so no luck there.
But, Carmen, she is smart that she can write a book in a
weekend, not only that she can write in so many different
genres. She said latelt she had been doing EBooks and she has
one that she's downloading. You will not believe the premise.
A man is sitting on the bus with a stranger who is a woman) and
they're chit-chatting about nothing in particular. They both
exit at their stops and never see each other again, but what
they do have is the conversation that they shared and the way
that each interpreted it. They take the conversation back to
their respective homes and the conversation basically travels.
There was more but I was so flabbergasted.
I said, "how do you do that?" While I'm waiting to retrieve my
books another thought hasn't even come to me.
You wouldn't believe the idea she gave me.
Too long to go into, but this idea is brilliant.

In less than 24 hours you will be escorted to a secluded island
for a little R & R. There is no electricity so you can't any
electronic devices. Food and water has already been provided for
you, along with a sparsely decorated room. What three things do
       you take with you?
       I would take:
       1. My bible
       2. Stationary-pen, pencils, and a couple of blank journals.
       3. Games-Sudoku, crosswords, and cryptoquips to pass the time.

       Hello everybody!
       I'm Ann.
My hobbies are reading classics, poetry books & books on history
       & horses, typing & singing.
I love all animals especially equines.
My favourite alcoholic beverage is Malibu. My favourite
       non-alcoholic beverage is latte.
If I could do anything I wanted I'd visit Shetland, Connemara,
The New Forest, Dartmoor, Exmoor & the Camargue & have a
residence with horses & stables to call my own preferably in
Dunoon where most of my ancestors came from.
