When the storms of life surround you and the waves come crashing
down....just remember that Jesus is in your corner, has your
back and can calm the winds of life with a single command. Need
proof? Name another who has walked on water!!!

welcome to Camelot Caroline.
what I am going to do is create a special board for you. I will
move your threads there. and there please feel free to create as
many threads you please or wish and as many as you need.
you can create literally thousands if you like. this forum can
accommodate that.
I will call your board "Caroline's Place" for now. and I can
change it anytime to the name that you desire.
this will at least allow you to start coming up with your ideas
and stuff.
ok give me a few seconds and your own place will be created. I
will place it just below Carmen's place.
stay tuned.

I think you enjoy this caroline.
on facebook the posts disappear quickly and very few people ever
go back to read them all.
here your posts will stay in one place for the whole world to
see and enjoy.
now you can create endless topics and share your thoughts with
the world.
facebook is cool too and it has its functions and uses but a
platform like this one just adds another dimension.
it is just fun to create, build, and share.
this is a new forum and we are all really just starting from
scratch. this is the building/creating phase for all of us.
and what is cool is that everybody just does their own thing
here. people can just be themselves here.
I mean we all try to interact and stuff as much as possible but
it is still nice to have all these centers to create and build
ideas/topics.

Carolilne-FLACA120,
It looks like you're experiencing what I experience when trying
to set my avatar. I found out that the size of some of my
avatars couldn't be accommodated, so I made a copy of it and
cropped it down to size, then saved it to my pictures and was
able to find the right size that would display.

My sweet Flaca, this is your prima, by the
way....lol.
I can name someone who also walked on water. Matthew 14:22-33:
"At once Jesus had His followers get into the boat. He told them
to go ahead of Him to the other side while He sent the people
away. After He had sent them away, He went up the mountain by
Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone. By this
time the boat was far from land and was being thrown around by
the waves. The wind was strong against them.
Just before the light of day, Jesus went to them walking on the
water. When the followers saw Him walking on the water, they
were afraid. They said, “It is a spirit.” They cried out with
fear. At once Jesus spoke to them and said, “Take hope. It is
I. Do not be afraid!”
Peter said to Jesus, “If it is You, Lord, tell me to come to
You on the water.” Jesus said, “Come!” Peter got out of the
boat and walked on the water to Jesus. But when he saw the
strong wind, he was afraid. He began to go down in the water. He
cried out, “Lord, save me!” At once Jesus put out His hand and
took hold of him. Jesus said to Peter, “You have so little
faith! Why did you doubt?”
When Jesus and Peter got into the boat, the wind stopped
blowing. Those in the boat worshiped Jesus. They said, “For
sure, You are the Son of God!”
It's true that Peter began to sink. Peter lost focus. He drew
his eyes from the Lord and was consumed by the storm (doubt).
This caused him to go down in the water. Peter found himself
being engulfed by the sea (our problems, our sins), his faith
wavered, briefly. But look! He cried out to Jesus and Jesus did
not hesitate to extend His hand and take hold of Peter.
I have to give some shout out to brother Peter. He was the only
one of the disciples that got out the boat and actually walked.
As we do, as children of God, people of God, we fail, we lose
focus, we continually make the same mistakes and our flesh is
weak and delusive to our lust, greed and sinful nature....but
isn't it wonderful that we have a Savior. That although we are
sinners, if we call out to Him with a repented and contrite
heart, that He forgives us and delivers us. To God be the
glory.
