It's just that the matter was handled in a very wrong way and
not in timely fashion either, unfortunately. All they needed to
do is just relax the rules a lot as we are all grown ups after
all minus Alex. lol. They could have still kept the rules they
have now and let the Castle flow. it was such a minor adjustment
and yet, it never got done the proper way. And you couldn't just
wait and be patient so I have a beef with you too, mind you.
Next time, I want you to speak to the Mod you are most friendly
with (in this case it was BB) if that ever happens again. So
that's something you really badly need to adjust. You are going
to promise that to all of us.

mistake were made on both sides.
I still thin they were pretty hard up on making us 2nd class
citizens.
not necessarily baron but his chimpanzees. especially moxie and
tented.
tented was all about ultra control. he deleted one of my posts
as soon as I got there.
and the post was simple: the post just asked if we should
consider a classified section/board.
he deleted it and then he told me he told me that he does not
want that on his forum.
as bad as tented was, moxie was worse. she told me stop posting
at the art gallery thread that I created.

I am not sure how to fix that emma.
general slasher or general august might know. hopefully they
will see this post when they swing by.
truth be told, that is a home made forum.
a lot of those are completely free on the net and vast majority
of them have no appeal. there are constraints and there are
severe limitations to those type of forums.
it is also an extremely clickish crowd. and they tend to hang
out with each other at their tennis discussion page 99% of the
time.
they did not really care about us at the castle. moxie and
tented avoided it and so did 99% of their mods.
I made it clear to baron when I got there that it was up to us
and all the locals there and all the global mods there to set an
example of personally meeting and greeting folks when they
arrived at the castle. it told him it would start a trend.
people like to be noticed and spoken to.
well it did not happen. baron was the only one and its because I
kept asking him to meet and greet new people at the castle when
they arrived.
betty was extremely upset one morning. she sent me a pm and said
that she was sick and tired of being so blatantly ignored there.
I don't think it was going to work emma. sooner or later it
would have ended there anyway.
I have known a lot of those people for a long time. vast
majority of them do not care about me.
it is what it is. I am not going to lose any sleep over it.
we live and learn and we move on. we adapt and we evolve. we
will never be able to please the whole world.
it was fun in the beginning because most new things can be fun
and are fun if we just have the capacity to just let them be
fun.
and the upside seemed interesting since we were starting from
ground zero. one has to be optimistic about things in life.
I had a feeling that their indifference and their constant
meddling and endless propensity to be all controlling would
inhibit our enterprise sooner or later.
and so it happened.
anyway I have some ideas. we start from scratch here and we just
hang on for our opportunity for a really cool forum with some
commercial appeal.
those who stick with us and help us build a little bit will be
stars at our next forum.
and we will let the gutless cowards run since they never were
really with us in the first bloody place.

I think most of the posters there are very tennis oriented so
they stick to threads that are more related to that. It's a
tennis forum after all. Some of them do hang out on other
threads like the Movie, Music, art etc. but only a few. Anyway,
that doesn't even matter and I don't think they need to hang out
at the Castle either. I know that a relationship takes time to
build and we were never there. I know baron britbox from before
so I was most comfortable with him and I really liked Kieran -
he's such a sweetheart. He'd hang out a lot at the Castle but as
I said, they don't and didn't need to. They just needed to trust
you and Javi enough to leave it alone. But you know, it's hteir
forum after all though I wish they'd known what they were
getting into because Castle has it's fare share of
controversies. So once they accepted it, IMHO, they should have
been brave enough to stick with it. There was just way too much
meddling to the point I felt really uncomfortable and I let Owen
know too. Anyway, it's in the past now. Best things tend to come
out from the worst or they say.
I am sorry to here that betty got upset. Probably it's some of
our fault too. You've been always great at greeting all the
posters but I am afraid I haven't done the same with either
betty or nikki, so I take some responsibility as well.

well I don't think the door is closed forever lady emma.
first of all as you know, baron still welcomes us there with
open arms.
we will let some time pass first and foremost.
and then we will look at our various options.
in the mean time, we do have our own place. there were really
just a few of us at the castle there anyway.
and as you know we are all so busy during the day. we only tend
to relax at a cool, calm, quiet forum in the evenings when we
can.
here you are a global moderator already. see how easy it would
have been. all they had to do was restore my and javi`s quiet
leadership at the castle and let it roll for a while.
we brought baron what he was craving for. we brought him some
growth.
even general masterclass made this point: he said that some
leadership at least in principle was important at the castle.
I just wanted my name and javi`s name at the top as mods because
to many people it represents and safety and security.
we are not and never have been power hungry mods. it was to be
just a symbolic thing.
and it also means that a few more people would have come our
way.
I like Kieran a lot too. he posted with us a little bit at the
castle.
we can ask him to stop by here once in a while and say hello.
baron also said he will stop by and say hello.
we wont do anything to hurt their forum in any way.
baron is a class act.
and so is of course Kieran.

I think he said something pretty stupid about you too.
no doubt he will make his way here before long.

I know neither you nor Javi are power hungry and because you are
the owners of the Castle, it makes sense that you two would have
your names there.
Leadership is a great thing but only when people don't lose
sight of things which is mainly to serve others and that's all
there is. But more often than not we tend to abuse it.
It would be nice to see baron here for sure. I was at TF this
late afternoon and sent him a PM to say hello. I told him that
I'd stop by from time to time.
Oh, so I am a mod now? I didn't even notice. lol. what am I
supposed to mod though? Maybe I'll mod baron once he's here and
give him some sweet time :p kidding!
And also, I can always mod freaky's name. I mean what kind of
name is that?? lol
