It's been in the news most recently
Marlon Brando late 40's
Maria Schneider 19
Bernardo Bertolucci directed
For many years she struggled with depression
It's been said she never cooked with butter
Due to the butter scene in the movie
Both Marlon & Maria are deceased
Bertolucci Finally admits two days ago
that the "butter scene" in the movie
was real and that Marlon & Bertolucci
discussed it with no consent from Maria
Bertolucci claimed he wanted to capture
her raw emotions as a girl receiving anal
Not as an actress
"Apparently " only one take
44 years later Bertolucci confesses
Maria stated and intimated much for many years
No one listened ...

Maria had several attempts on. Her life
Today's date everyone would say...so what?
Back then she may have been ostracized
Judgement is harsh
She had stated that she didn't think it was
Done on purpose
Looking back now
Her statement alone proved she did think it was
In her pictures she seemed tortured
She looked hauntingly in pain
I'm sure she was dismissed by many
Assault is assault
Many say she signed on for the movie
Yes she did
Bertolucci states that it was not a part of the script
It was Brando that convinced Bertolucci
To add the butter and not inform Maria
Having seen the film recently
It's obvious Brando had much to say
And convinced the director
I'm sure there are many movies
With many real stories coming to the forefront
In the years to come
