Why do Fathers always have to be right?
If they're not they always start a fight.
Then you have to prove them wrong.
It's annoying when you know you're right all along.
If you don't do things their way they say you're doing it the
wrong way.
They won't listen to anything you say.
They can also be very kind.
That is what you find.
They love you very much indeed.
They'll do you many a good deed.
You love them too but they can do your head in.
They like to make a lot of din & then you need cola & gin.
They can be very giving.
They can make your life worth living.

When you're out in the world, use a bin.
They're there to put all your rubbish in.
Don't throw your litter on the floor.
People could trip over it & more.
Please don't throw plastic bags away.
Birds could get hurt by them any day.
If you've got a dog, pick up its mess when you take it for a
walk.
Don't throw away cans which can kill animals. About this it's
time to talk.

I dream of a time in the Highlands of Scotland where wild
Highland ponies did roam.
I dream of a time when Dunoon was the place my ancestors called
home.
I dream of a land where everyone gets on, shares things equally
& there are no wars, arguments or fights.
I dream of a land where everyone not only has rights but don't
have to assert their rights.

I'd like to be in a place where the land meets the sea.
I'd like to be in a world where all the animals are free.
In a world of joy, peace & love's where I want to be.
A world where there's no wars, fights & rows is for me.

Singing
I sing when I'm glad.
I sing when I'm sad.
I sing when I'm mad.
I don't sound bad.
I sing all the time.
I sing songs that rhyme.
It's a good job it isn't a crime.
To the high notes I can climb.

Etiquette
If you're asking for something always say please.
Use a tissue or handkerchief when you sneeze.
When you've been given something always say thank you.
If you've got to wait your turn always join the queue.
To use manners it is free.
It's the nicest way to be.
It does not hurt to be kind.
Other's being good back is good for the mind.
If you're saying something harsh that needs to be said, use
self-control.
You will find this is good for your soul.
It doesn't hurt in this instance to talk euphemistically & use
diplomacy & tact.
This costs nothing but a bit of thought & that's a fact.

The power of a song
Do you know the power of a song?
Songs are a good way of expressing feelings.
They are especially helpful if you dance or sing along.
You can express feelings about your bad dealings.
You can express happiness, depression & rage.
Then you can let go of these feelings.
You can turn another page.
You can concern yourself with other dealings.
You can talk about subjects that are taboo.
You can express these feelings at a volume that goes through the
roof.
You don't just have to give people an emotional clue.
You can tell them the truth.
Everyone can have a dance.
They may sing or play instruments if they get the chance.

You are free to be whoever you want to be.
It's the easiest way to be happy.
You have to be whoever you are.
If you do that you will go far.
You can lose track of who you really are if you always do what
other people say.
You exhaust yourself & people take advantage of you & you can't
please everyone at the end of the day.
Often if you have the opportunities & work hard enough the
options are all in your mind.
Sometimes people will offer to help or advise you if you are
kind.
Once you know the way in everything can be easy.
When you're happy everything can be bright & breezy.
