interesting draw general.
the way is Djokoic is rounding into form again, he is going to
be nearly impossible to beat.
the man is simply too fit and too focused and too driven.
he is working day and night on his game and his fitness.

General Hercules, when the only consistent competition to
Djokovic is almost 35, playing as many matches as the Serb.
I'm not sure what's going on with the rest of the players.
Right now, Murray and Nadal should be the ones barking at
Novak's front door.
Now, they have trouble finding his house.
Andy: Which one might he be in Rafa?
Rafa: I don't know Andy, I was fishing with Uncle Toni. Maybe
I'd look on top. Are you sure this is the right neighborhood?

ha ha ha. that was good general.
Rafa is out. could not even finish the match.
the heat was the culprit this time.
he just has no fitness. you cant win more than a match or two at
a time with is fitness level.
you are spot on: andy and rafa should have been the ones to
challenge Djokovic.
that falls on a 35 year old now. Roger is still out there
working hard for his next slam. now that is the spirit.
he has it all and still he has the drive and the hunger for his
next slam.
I would not bet against Roger at Wimbledon. he can get it done
there.

Maybe General. I have a feeling that if Federer wins #18, it
will be his last, but who knows, right?
Only Nole has stopped him from getting to 20 just in the last
couple of years.
Speaking of Murray, what do you think of Andy's chances at
Roland Garros this year?
I know he's had great trouble beating either Djokovic or Federer
in the last couple of years. Since 2014's start he is 1-11 vs.
Novak, and 0-5 against the old man.
I don't think it is a lack of fitness with Murray. I think two
things hurt him. A poor second serve, and lack of a big
forehand. Maybe a bit of testicular fortitude as well.
But if Novak and Roger fall somehow, I think Andy could pick up
the pieces.
Speaking of Roland Garros, are you going to fire up the thread
for it? Only 49 days left...

we can fire up a RG thread general. you can fire one up tomorrow
and I will try to add to it.
some good questions there and also great insight:
2 things do hurt andy. weak serve and a lack of a dominating
forehand.
he got hold of djokovic while djokovic was still working out his
game and his fitness. now there is just no contest.
that being said, andy would have his best chances against
djokovic at RG if the draw is kind and somebody can knock off
the top gun (djokovic).
or if he can catch djokovic on a very off day. the problem with
that is that djokovic doesn't have off days anymore. even his
off days result in a win for him.
I think roger can get his 18th slam at Wimbledon. there may be
some chances there. he has to take them if they present
themselves.
I am going to pick roger for his 18th major at Wimbledon this
year.
these are my 3 favorites for Wimby:
1. Roger
2. Djokovic
3. Andy
