lot of talk today involves roger Federer. everybody is wondering
what is wrong and what he is going to do going forward.
I think he has a tremendous number of options at his disposal
because of his fabulous wealth.
but I believe he loves the game too much to leave. he is in a
little bit of a slump.
I expect him to make a strong comeback.

anything else your heart desires at the Camelot thread.
u.s. open will draw to a close soon.
I am looking forward to davis cup action already.

good to see you general august.
we are just playing around. no telling what we may end up doing
general.
this is just to sort of stay in touch.
and also to see and learn about forums a little bit.
at some point with enough support, I will be glad to spend some
money and get a forum with some commercial capability.
that one will have far more exposure.
you can have as large a sig as you like here general august.
quite simply put, this is your own forum.

It's just past midnight here in Finland. I'm going to bed now to
get a few hours of sleep before Stan-Berdy. I think I'm going to
miss the 1st set, a five-setter would be too much in early
morning.

did nokia really get gobbled up today by a large company? I will
have to check the news.
nokia was once the largest sell phone company in the world.

Yes, Microsoft buys the phone business, Nokia continues to
manufacture mobile networks. The phone business wasn't
profitable recently, so maybe not that bad to sell it but sad to
lose one of the most famous Finnish consumer brands. And who
knows if MS is really gonna keep the jobs in Finland.
And the Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop was a former Microsoft guy. He
decided Nokia switches to Windows and abandons the new MeeGo
operating system. And now that Nokia sells the phones, Elop goes
back to MS and may become a future CEO. Interesting... ::)
But now I gotta go to bed.
