Here's a very powerful rendition of Scots Wha Hae by Robert
Burns as put to music by Steve MacDonald. This interpretation
brought the meaning of that poem home to me like a hammer blow -
I never truly understood them before.

I love Robert Burns. The funny thing is I've always understood
it naturally & I'm supposed to be English.

I've only ever heard it previously read with a "lighter" voice -
it was this rendition that brought the power of the words home
to me. The meaning violently clear in the tone.

I've only heard it before either with a gentler voice or sung to
bagpipes. I used to listen to bagpipe music while revising for
exams as it gets me thinking so the bagpipes behind it made me
think.
