Definitely. I love all of Scotland though. I have some Scottish
highlanders as ancestors but also some ancestors who came from
the borders & just South of Glasgow.

Ahhh. My mother is a Cameron - born and bred near Fort William
😊 But I'm at home and at peace in the Borders - love the
wildness and beauty to be found in both regions. I wrote a
series of verses a few months ago based upon a Border raid -
inspired by The Candlemas Road.

I've got Cunningham, Douglas, Brown & Lamont ancestors as well
as a lot of others descended from the Irish O'Neill clan. So
most of my ancestors came from Dunoon.

I've been to Fort William many times. It's a nice, little
shopping town while still being very scenic as it's still in the
highlands with all the Lochs & mountains.
