In denial they stand
Faces turned ugly with hate
Howling demons made human

True desires unhidden
Bared to the light of day

Once upon a time
I lay in peaceful slumber

My leaden limbs unheeding
Overactive imagination screaming "beware!"

A veiled sun shone down
Bathing a field in a golden glow
Twas as if an angel alighted
2 bless the creatures scurrying 2 & fro

Turns slowly upon the table
Pointing it's deadly accusation out to all

As wraiths in the night
Stealing slowly they come
Darkly spreading across the land
Leaving death in their wake

Memories, desires, wishes
Flood my mischievous manor
I smile offering invitation

That snake who lurks within us all

That's a name from the past
They once called him that
Shouted that name in the ring
A winner he was

Led to his downfall at the hands of a mob

This was a chain following my visit to the ghost town of Graftin
- I saw a house and the first series of lines immediately came
to mine - this may grow as more lines come to me.
Folks round here called her Miss Eliza
She was married five times
Buried four husbands
They never found the fifth
Rumours flowed
Filling the reservoirs of gossip
How could someone so young
So reserved
Have caught the eye of so many
Ethereal as the moon
Men gravitated towards her
She shone so bright
None saw the shadows
The ravens which gathered
