Character Bio:
Born in Limerick, Ireland to parents Sean Tulley and Brianna
Tulley, Jonny was raised in a strict Roman Catholic household
during a turbulent time in Anglo-Irish history. His father was
priest in residence of the diocese of Limerick and his mother
was a local civil servant. Being an only child, Jonny’s early
years were dominated by his fathers work and it wasn’t long
before he dreamed of becoming a Catholic priest. As ‘the
troubles’ between Unionist and Loyalist organisations
intensified, Jonny found himself being drawn into the conflict
on the side of the unite Ireland movement due to his fathers
prominent position within the community. His parents were
staunch unionists and believed Northern Ireland should be
brought back under Irish control. As Jonny entered his teenage
years, he became involved in protest marches and rallies
organised by local paramilitary groups. One of these groups
would later become infamous as the Irish Republican Army (IRA).
Jonny, along with a group of local youths became more and more
involved in violent action against loyalist and British army
groups. Jonny’s renown grew for his ingenuity and cunning and he
quickly became favoured amongst the IRA leadership. He slid into
a role of collector for influential IRA members, enforcing debt
payment and ensuring loyalty to the cause. During this period he
earned the nickname 'The Crippler' for his brutal punishments
which often left people permanently disabled. As Jonny got
older, he became more involved in the paramilitary branch of the
IRA and was trained in all aspects of clandestine operations. He
won praise amongst his comrades for his high British soldier
kill count and led select teams across to mainland Britain,
conducting several successful terrorist attacks. Jonny's parents
worried that he was too deep within the darker side of unionist
politics and tried many times to rein in their now, fully grown
son.
As the Good Friday agreement of 1998 drew the troubles to a
close, Jonny found many of his IRA compatriots unwilling or
unable to continue the fight. He quickly became bitter and angry
that the IRA support network had now been eroded. He was also
concerned about revenge attacks from loyalist sources due to the
many enemies he had gained over the years. Deciding to take
preemptive action, Jonny took passage to the United States to
seek a new life and escape the wolves. He settled with local
Irish republicans in New York and quickly integrated himself
into the criminal underground, rising high in their favour.
Using the skills he acquired through over a decade of
paramilitary work, he quickly became infamous in the New York
criminal circuit. Feeling threatened, the local Italian mafia
pushed Jonny out of the New York area and away from his power
base. Fleeing once more, Jonny eventually made it to Carver town
where again, he established himself as a lead player in the
criminal underground.
He currently sits on top of a large criminal network with many
ongoing operations of a questionable nature. He owns all the
brothels in town, several fraud insurance agencies, other small
businesses, narcotics, a protection racket group and information
service. Nothing happens in Carver town without Jonny knowing
about it. He is rumoured to have several of the city's officials
on his payroll and has informants everywhere.

every...little...thing that happens in this town? I own this
town and I own you."
The quivering wreck of a man buckled against his restraints,
unable to move himself from the chair he was bound to. The
petrol was burning his eyes as being doused in it would do. His
shattered face and swollen mouth managed to spill out some
feeble defence.
"I didn't snitch on you, I swear it! I swear it!" the man broken
down in wracking sobs, knowing the price of betrayal to this
ruthless man.
"I know you told that feckin cop, I know you squealed like a
right little piggy. Isn't that right Tiny?"
Tiny, Jonny's 7.5ft tall, ex MMA fighter bodyguard nodded in
approval.
"Even Tiny knows you're a lousy rat, Jimmy. You know what we do
to rats, we burn em out."
He tossed his cuban cigar onto Jimmy's lap and walked away, the
screams of the immolated man filling the cargo container. As he
exited the container, Jonny turned to one of his more trusted
henchmen. "Clean up this feckin shite, I have to get some
breakfast. Tiny, breakfast?" Tiny, a man of few words, grunted
his approval.
"That's the man!, let's go."
His driver opened the door to his black, BMW 7 series and closed
it. As the car sped off, the clean up crew got to work on
Jimmy's remains.
