       I am a long time fan of Mother Maybelle Carter and the Carter
       Family, I learned to play in her guitar and autoharp style and
       have loved it ever since. I have created this forum to try to
       build a community of musicians who play in Maybelle's style of
       guitar or autoharp, since there really isn't that many of us
       left now.
       Mother Maybelle was considered the first lady of country music,
       and music as we know it may not have been the same today without
       her.
       Please use this forum to learn from and connect to other Carter
       Scratch musicians.
