I updated the book and Kindle on Amazon today. The changes are
under review
and a version in each format should be available within a few
days. I'll announce
their availability a.s.a.p.
I've gotta say that I'm really happy with the quality of the
Barnes & Noble updated edition.

contributions have been minor, compared to the efforts of you
and Nina, so very gracious of you to acknowledge me.
I must warn you that I'm starting to feel like new material is
harder and harder to unearth. I've been through most of the
names in the A-Z, I think, and new finds are few and far
between.
Some names are annoyingly resistant to research, but hopefully
new books and magazines are added to the collections, so
eventually we'll find Decenwether and the other inscrutables!

Pete, you're absolutely correct.
I've been looking through newspapers from the 1870s ( witness my
thread on 15 Bowery ) in a so-far unsuccessful effort to locate
information on any of those in the A to Z.
There may be some photos out there, but again, as you said,
they're few and far between.
