       A couple of years ago, Jose Oranto took this photo from atop the
       Al Smith Homes...the former spot the East River Hotel was
       situated on.
       I would have had goosebumps being on the top of this building.
       The asphalt on the bottom left is the roof of the Alfred E,
       Smith's Homes.  Water Street is the street running upward
       northeast of the building.
       The cars are on Catherine Slip.
