An A To Z Of The Brown Murder Case

       ---------------------------------------------------------
An A to Z compendium containing 216 entries on individuals,
places, rarely seen newspaper articles, events, files,
photographs and sketches, related directly or peripherally to
the story of the 1891 murder of Carrie Brown, aka "Old
Shakespeare", a crime which was a sensation in its time. The
press immediately linked the Brown murder to the 1888
Whitechapel Murders of Jack the Ripper.
A trial was held and the defendant was convicted. But a decade
later, startling new developments took place, resulting in not
only the narrative being disrupted and the prisoner being
released, but a new mystery was at hand.
Entries on individuals such as America's greatest detective: a
forensic medical first at the trial: a wealthy coroner's inquest
panel that in today's terms had net assets approaching a billion
dollars: local Lower East Side women barely making it from day
to day: and the man who brought Babe Ruth to The Big Apple. all
and much more information on those who played a role in the
case. The Illustrated Encyclopedia contains new photographs and
sketches not included in our first book, East Side Story.
An announcement will be made when it is available and where it
       can be purchased.

       Looks good, Howard.
Did you ever notify or send a copy of the first book to
Ripperologist? I don't recall seeing it among the reviews.

       Pete:
I sent Begg a PDF copy of the first book after he requested one.
Never heard back from him, one way or the other.
Makes the likelihood or thought of contacting him again pretty
       easy to make...I'm not.
Nina and I have no interest in that magazine or anyone
associated with it, boss. Sorry to be blunt.
Nina and I wrote 54 articles for that magazine over a 17-year
period and he couldn't be bothered to reply.
Thanks for the suggestion, though...please don't misunderstand
       us, we appreciate your suggestion.
I'm definitely promoting it on Murder By Gaslight and a few
       other places, primarily places
       which aren't Ripper-oriented.

       Almost forgot:
Getting my proof copy from Amazon ( paperback ) on Sunday. Broke
       my balls re-adjusting the original
proof this morning to make it 'fit' the specific parameters
Amazon requires, which are a little different
than Barnes and Noble's requirements... I'm also going to put it
       in Kindle format, for certain.

       Ok, thanks, I understand.
Having the book in an electronic format like kindle would make
it easier to update, as new information is uncovered.
