       On A Light-Hearted Note....

       I've been working on another case-related book and found this
       while researching one of the press reporters.
       One of the five New York Sun reporters was Frederick Folger
       Coleman ( Chamberlain, Butler, Barber, and Riis were the others
       )
       who filed affidavits in 1901. He was born in 1849 and died in
       1935.
       His daughter Esther danced for the Metropolitan Opera. She was
       born in 1890 and died in 1914 of Scarlet Fever at 24 years of
       age.
       Here's an advertisement announcing his daughter's dance routine
       with her husband Angelo Romeo.
       Apache is a highly dramatic dance associated in popular culture
       with Parisian street culture at the beginning of the 20th
       century.

       Pronounced ah-PAHSH, not uh-PATCH-ee
       The routine with Jimmy Durante is pretty funny. There's one of
       Buster Keaton, too.
