       I don't have the exact date when the demolition of the East
       River Hotel occurred.....but it may have been shortly after
       these clips from November 1907.
       One of the tenants at the time, Dan Donovan, must have had
       hundreds of lurid stories to tell having lived there for quite
       some time.

       Somewhere within these two links is probably the closest we'll
       ever come to seeing the hotel other than the sketches.
       Good of Tom Edison's company to film the area 121 years ago.
