Nina found out ( emboldened) the following today. Still nothing
on the 'K' middle initial.
Maurice BOOM Oct. 2 1854 Died Feb 17, 1925 from pneumonia
erysipelas Father born US Mother born Germany He's listed as
buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery....West New York, New Jersey....but
there isn't a cemetery in West New York, NJ by that name.
There's one northwest of Manhattan, a Mt. Hope Cemetery, a
non-sectarian cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.

I forgot to mention this tidbit about Boom: he was one of the
early agents of Buster Keaton, as he had contract with the
Keaton family's vaudeville show.
From Lisa Stein Haven, Early Buster Keaton, p. 48-49, talking
about 1901, when Buster Keaton was around six - the "Joe"
mentioned is Buster Keaton's father.
