       Why Was He Referred To As A 'Danish' Farmhand In The First Place

       Damon's May 20th affidavit was the affidavit that was quoted
       from in the newspapers...and in fact, the only one that was.
       I'll post the New York Times, June 3rd edition which contains
       the gist of the May 20th affidavit submitted at least two weeks
       before Damon's second deposition.  There would be three more
       depositions...June 12, July 2, and one on July 13th, or unless I
       misread it, July 18th.
       In the May 20th, 1901 affidavit submitted by George Damon, he
       states he believed the hired hand on his property was a Swede
       There is no reference whatsoever to a Dane in the May 20th
       affidavit.

       In the July 2nd affidavit he makes four references to German &
       Germans, one reference to 'Swede' and one to 'Dane' :

       The bizarre thing about all of this is that Damon's first
       reference to the hired hand possibly being a Dane appeared in an
       affidavit FORTY ONE days after the article below with four
       references to 'Dane' was published.
       At this point it doesn't matter if he referred to the farmhand
       as a Zulu or Irishman....what's really strange is that it would
       only be found in an official document 6 full weeks later in the
       July 2nd affidavit.
       In other words, why are there so many references to 'Dane' in
       the article below but none mentioned at that time or until the
       July 2nd affidavit which no one would ever read in a newspaper?

       How does Robillard come to the conclusion the farmhand was a
       Dane if Damon's May 20th affidavit clearly did not mention the
       word 'Dane'?

       It makes me wonder whether this load of bollocks was an attempt
       to suggest complicity with the well-publicized 1887 Rahway
       Murder  to the farmhand.  In the 1887 murder, a Dane, among
       others, was suspected of the murder.  His name was Carl Woolf.
