Fortunately, it appears we’re missing at least two panels, one
in each end. The panels are pretty big and the right side may be
missing a panel and a half.

Once bitten, twice shy.....so I'm just going to guess that this
would be a likely spot for the hotel.
The star is first site I guessed it would be....
The two lines designate what I believe to be Catherine Slip. It
was James Street, Oliver Street, and then Catherine Slip
The arrow above the proposed site

That's good work, Howard. I have to look at it more closely
tomorrow but I know that Newyorkontrial.com had the sketch of
the Hotel with the Round Roofed building in the foreground. I
see one such building in the right place on the opposite corner.
Do you think it's behind the whitish building, almost completely
obscured except for maybe the awning? Corner of the roof maybe?

This one here....appears to be on the corner ( southwest corner
) of the intersection.

If you look at the sketch of the Hotel on www.carriebrown.net
the top of the building's facade isn't rounded.

I meant this one directly across from the East River Hotel.
