Hey, at least he was honest! ;D\
This is either the second or third trial mentioning one of the
       members of the Ali jury.

SEVEN JURORS SELECTED. Panel of 200 Talesmen Exhausted in the
Webster Murder Trial—Few Objectors to Racing.
Burton C. Webster was twice told yesterday to rise from his
seat in the Court of Oyer and Terminer and look at a juror
who was taking an oath to pass on his case without fear or
favor, without prejudice or favoritism. During the day's
       session
of the court before Judge Ingraham, only two men were selected
to take seats in the jury box with the five men weeded
out of the crowd of talesmen on Tuesday. The panel of 200
talesmen was exhausted before the time fixed for adjournment
was reached, obliging Judge Ingraham to put off the case until
to-day, when another panel of 200 men has been
summoned to appear. Many of the men on the first panel were
excused by the Court on account of to-day being a
Jewish festival. Of the panel, ninety-five men were examined and
eighty-eight rejected. Fines will be imposed on all
those who failed to answer when their names were called. There
       have been twenty-five peremptory challenges,
fourteen for the defense and eleven for the prosecution.
A JUROR IN "FRENCHY'S" CASE. A talesman examined was Benjamin
Waterman, of No. 161 East Sixty-fifth Street,
who was a member of the jury that convicted Ben Ali, the
Algerian known as "Frenchy," of the murder of "Old Shakespeare."
Mr. Waterman confessed having formed a prejudice against
       Webster and he was excused.
