The censuses from 1855 and 1860 seem to validate the claim made
at the Coroner's Inquest
that Carrie was 56 years old at the time of her death.
The first one suggests that she was born in either 1832 or 1833.

In Nina's and my opinion, the 1855 and 1860 census listings were
correct.

Charles Brown In Salem Directories
1853- 30 Derby Street ( a house ). With Carrie.
1857- 12 Walnut Street ( a house) With Carrie and daughter Mary
Ellen
1866- 7 Becket Street ( boarder) Not with Carrie
1869- 7 Becket Street ( boarder ) Not with Carrie

This is a reference to Carrie and Charles living on Becket
Street. It's from the April 27th, 1891 Boston Globe:
The acquaintance which ripened into intimacy was made in
Brooklyn, and after a few months’ wooing the marriage took place
in that city, and a short time after that, the happy couple came
to Salem and established a home on Becket St.
They may have lived on Becket Street before moving to Derby
Street. 30 Derby Street is one block over
from Becket Street
