Nina Brown's Room 31 Replica December 10, 2025
The layout ( a 1/2 inch to 12 inch scale ) came from civil
engineer Frederick Reinert.
Reinert provided technical facts and floor/room dimensions to
the Court in his court testimonies.
Room 31 was measured at 12 ft. 8 inches by 7 ft. 6 inches.
Nina began work on this approximately 6 weeks ago. Each piece is
handmade
from scratch, from the floorboards to the windows, the chair,
the pail of beer,
candlestick, candle holder, and wooden stand. The bed's
dimensions are precise as well.
Left off were the garment draped over the chair, her muslin bag,
her glasses case, her shoes,
and a knife ( the latter not hers )
The model is in 1/24th scale ( .5 inch to 1 foot ).
