Report on the February Detention Class.
Thursday 21st February 2019, Starting at 1.30pm.
Report from Beril.
And who all made the effort to get along today...
Miss Stephanie Hardcastle, Headmistress.
Miss Alex Evans, Headgirl.
The Pupils,

Master G Rollinson.
Gazza McDonald Tewit.
Master Bainton.

David Underwood from London.
and that was our merry band for today.

It was nice to see Gazza back in class today,
I told him how sorry we were to hear about his mum passing away,
he said at least she is no longer in any pain, and the good Lord
is looking after her now.
The Headmistress let slip that some of the pupils of this school
who have been unable to get along to regular events,
have been attending for 1-2 -1 private sessions, so well done to
them.
I asked the boss if she had any further school events dates for
this year,
but - so far nothing is sorted out..

It was after 2.00pm before the class got underway.
The Headmistress started of with an English word puzzle.
X - W - R
-----------
A - E - K
----------
O - R - W
Four or more letters in each word.
Each word must have the letter "E" in it.
NO rude /swear words.
Pass mark 7 words/points.
3 points for the full nine letter word.
waxer, worker, axer, rare, rake.
rower, rear, rework, wear, woke.
wore, wake, ware, aero, weak, wreak.
and the nine letter word - see if you can guess.

Next followed a general knowledge test with a choice of 4
answers.
Questions like when did Cromwell die - 1685.
Not everybody passed..

Our next lesson was a page of Maths.
Eight problems to work on, answer at least six.
The Headmistress likes everybody to at least have a go
at answering the maths problems.

One of the lads was asking the Headmistress,
Where to get Adult School-boy shorts, a discussion followed
and various shops were mentioned around the country.
