As it just so happens Miss Dubois gave this out
as a homework project on Saturday 9th June,
although very few people bothered to do it,
AND Miss Dubois forgot to ask for it, on the day.
I just happen to have the homework project in my desk,
which was a postcard of a young lady on the beach, written in
Spanish.
Este parece un sitio para clavar la sombrillar.
( This seems like a good spot to stick the parasol.)
haha, got an "A" for that.

The Headmistress back in class wanted the class to have a go at
the English word puzzle.
N - O - D
-----------
E - M - I
-----------
S - I - N
Usual rules apply
3 points if you guess the 9 letter word.
Every word 4 or more letters.
Every word must have the letter "M" in it.
No rude or swear words.
13 words/points to pass.
Here goes :-
Emision, mission, dime, mine. dome.
deism, demo, dame, idem, ment.
nome, omen, sami, modi, mini
AND the nine letter word, - tell you later.
As far as I know only Miss Dubois guessed it on the day
and Slater guessed it in the evening..

Just before break the Headmistress held a General Knowledge
test,
with a pass mark of 7 or more.
It would seem that the bosses daughter rather likes to
exaggerate her test results,
together with answering back and being cheeky,,
The dunces hat for her...

Finally, time for school dinner,
A tasty snack and a welcome cup of coffee,
and a good chance to catch up with all the gossip.
Alex was telling us about her recent adventures at a
horse race meeting, showing of her knickers to the boys.

After lunch a general knowledge test,
questions like,
who invented the jet engine, - Sir Frank Whittle.
or which is the only mammal that can fly - a bat.
Not everybody passed,

The Headmistress's daughter just has a knack of upsetting the
boss,
to the point where drastic methods of punishment are required.

The Headmistress collected in the homework,
that is,, for those that had bothered to do it.
Leaving Miss Dubois in charge.
A 14 question general knowledge test, which most failed,
Form a queue at the side..
