The Headmistress was a bit short of staff for todays lesson.(and
       evening session)
Now that Matron Lucy has left our merry band,
and Miss Dubois, the Deputy Headmistress is having problems with
       her horses
It would seem that a horse fell on her leg last week and
       fractured the bone,
She now has to go about with her leg in a boot frame,
although they did give her a walking frame.. (which she hates)
So she was unable to join us today.
The Boss will just have to carry on as best she can..

The Headmistress started of the school day with a reading from
       the bible,
followed by a test on the subject.
Name the twelve disciples of Jesus.
1 Who were the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ?
       1.1 Simon Peter
       1.2 John
       1.3 James
       1.4 Andrew
       1.5 Philip
       1.6 Bartholomew
       1.7 Thomas
       1.8 Matthew
       1.9 James
       1.10 Thaddaeus
       1.11 Simon
       1.12 Judas Iscariot
But that was only the first part,
       another eight questions to follow.
The Beatitudes (Reading from Matthew 5:1-12)

This section of the “Beatitudes” is one of the most loved
portions of the Gospel. It forms the beginning of what has come
to be known as the “Sermon on the Mount” which is recorded in
Matthew 5-7. The preaching of this sermon may have come a little
later in the chronology of the life of Christ; but Matthew
placed it here at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry because it
forms such a grand proclamation of the kingdom. It is the first
of the five major discourses that Matthew includes.
There was only a few who got the pass mark,
everyone else report to the front of class.

First of all Welcome Vickie Granger to our School News Board,
please feel free to send in any comments and your feelings
       about your school adventures.
Young Curtis, well done guessing the nine letter word on the
       English Word puzzle.
I don't think anyone managed to guess it on the day,
""Hackneyed"" what the hell does it mean,
(haha, I went for a run in my hackneyed carriage)
The 9 letter word is supposed to be a popular word, which people
       use.....
And because of the weather the school room was roasting hot.
everybody was asking for glasses of water to keep them going..
(although I would have welcomed something a little stronger)
