Report of the June Detention Class.
Thursday 28th June, Starting at 1.30/2.00.
Report from Beril.
So, Who all attended today..
Miss Stephanie Hardcastle, Headmistress.
Pupils,
Alex Evans
Beril Reid.
Steven Reveria.
Jim Wilson.
and a new lad called Richard Richards from London.
and that's all who came along today.

The Headmistress started of the day with an old favourite
The English Word puzzle.
O - C - O
-----------
N - U - P
-----------
N - R - E
Choose as many four (or more) letter words.
Each word must have the letter "U" in it.
NO rude/swear words.
3 points if you guess the nine letter word.
Pass mark 9 or more words/points.
Here goes....
Crop, Prune, Rope, Nonce, Coup,
Coupe, Cupon, Cure, Nuron, Noun,
Pour, Prune, Pure, Recoup, Rupe.
And the nine letter word ?????

Next followed a General Knowledge Test,
Questions like, Who had a sword dangling on the end of a rope,
Damaclease, of course.
Not everyone reached the pass mark.

Hope you enjoyed your break. I'm trying not to melt.
It took 15 mins but "pronounce" is the best I can do.
I've got the whisky at the ready in case we get to penalties!!!

It usually comes at the end..
This is a light hearted and fun report from a 15 year old school
girl.
It is part of the fun to write it in that style..
It was never meant for the Times news paper..
