Our next lesson was a fairly involved lesson
on the History of the Vietnam war..
Which went on for quite a while..
Then it was time for a break, a tasty snack
coffee and a gossip..

Although the school day started at 12.00 lunchtime,
Not everybody was there on time, and the late comers
tried to sneak in, but the boss always catches them..

Next followed a page of maths,
Ten problems in Square Roots, answer five.
1. 6/3. = 216.
2. 9/4. = 6561.
3. 161/2. = 25,921.
4. 22/3. = 10,648.
5. 8/4. = 4,096.
6. 25/2. = 625.
7. 13/3. = 2,197.
8. 270/2. = 72,900.
9. 19/3. = 6,859.
10. 7/4. = 2,401.
There's a trick to this,
No1. The first number is 6X1 =6
So if it says 6/3 it really means 6/2
Watch - 6X6= 36, 36X6 = 216 - Answer 216 Get it..
Number 2. 9/4, which really means 9/3, Since the first number is
always 9X1=9 - Watch,
9X9= 81. 81X9 = 729, 729X9 = 6561. That's how its done..
Once you know the formula, its just a case of working it out..
