---------------------------------------------------------
Report of February Mixed Detention Class.
Thursday 15th February, Starting at 1.30 / 2.00pm.
Report from Beril.
Who all attended today,,
Miss Stephanie Hardcastle, Headmistress.
Miss Alex Evans, Acting Headgirl.
Beril Reid.
Gazza McDonald Tewit.
Bunter Minor.
Rollinson.
Hudson.
Jim Wilson.
New student, Special girl, Susan.
Not a bad turnout for our first Detention class of the New Year,
8 students today.
Perhaps the change of day, to a Thursday, is going to prove more
popular.
and the fact that it is half term this week, also helped..

Young Hudson had brought the Headmistress a beautiful bouquet of
flowers.
haha-- it did not take Master Gazza long to write his own
message on the flowers,
claiming they were from him...
but the Headmistress soon spotted who the real donor was..
and soon "resolved" the situation.

"""What was that" ??
Did you spot a "RED" rose for a YORKSHIRE lass,
Surely it should have been a WHITE rose,,
tut-tut. No gold star on the wall, there then..

Next thing the rude knickers this young lady was wearing,
were pulled down, and sent flying across the class room,
leaving just a bottom on show..
or perhaps that should be, a red sore bottom on show...
(good job she was not wearing a watch.)

For our first lesson of the day, we were going to have
a lesson called "Literature" .
Ten questions where the Headmistress gives a quote
and you have to guess the name of the book..
Example :-
A white whale chased by a mad sea captain with a wooden leg,
Moby dick.
A boy in the jungle, brought up by animals,, Jungle book.
some were more difficult than others..
We all swaped books to ensure fair play for marking,
then the boss changed the rules and also wanted the name of the
author as well,,
aaa, that's a bit sneaky, that was not asked for in the test..
SO instead of marks out of ten, it was marks out of twenty...
Nobody passed that,,
Out the front, form a queue..

Next followed a General knowledge test,
then it was time for a break,
The Headmistress always provides a tasty range of cream cakes
for everyone to try, along with a tea or coffee, to wash it
down..
(photos bit shakey there)

After break the Headmistress started of with a big project
on English Monarchs from the period of William I
all the way through to King Richard III...
Then a test on who could remember what.....
Did you know that the king that followed Edward IV
who was Edward V was believed to have been murdered
aged just 12, on his way to his coronation in the year of our
Lord 1483.
(that was lucky for Richard III, since he got the kings job)

3 points if you guess the 9 letter word.
Here goes---
