You really must pay more attention Beril!
Slater scored 18 out of 20 in the homework and certainly
achieved the pass mark. I think Higgins passed too.

I'm feeling a little better now Beril.
Will, "Discovery" fit the bill?
One small gripe. Can the pictures be made a little bigger. I
find that I can
not make out much from the current size.

Yes, Discovery was easy to find wasnt it Curtis. I love them
word puzzles.
If you click on the photos you will discover they get bigger and
much easier to view.
Finally Beril, there is much more to tidy up in this Building
than the Schoolroom. I finished the job off for you and disposed
of the rubbish in that large bin just outside Whitemarble house.
No key needed for this one.

I think Eugene's situation is very interesting.
I was saying to The Boss the last time I attended school that,
before I had anyone to openly discuss my love of corporal
punishment with, I would often make calls to ladies who provided
a phone service providing scolding, spanking, caning etc.
Then I started experiencing the real thing with the lovely
ladies we know so well.
So, now I find any such conversations would be unnecessary.
Having said that, although the sound effects of The Boss beating
a cushion on the end of a phone would not do much for me now, I
am sure it would have at the time and I would still love to
receive a damn good verbal roasting from her over the phone (as
I do at anytime in person!). :'(
So, as you so rightly say, everyone to their own. ;)

This is nothing to do with the school day but some of you may
watch a programme called "8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown."
You may find Jimmy Carr's laugh quite amusing and odd. In a
future episode one of our number is being paid to parody this
laugh along with
two others thespians. I'm not sure yet when this is going out
but I gather it's being recorded tomorrow.
Do you think the headmistress could persuade Rachel Riley to
give us all a maths lesson?

Carlton is not known for its thespians so don't miss the chance
to see one of our own performing on TV.
Channel 4 at 8.00 p.m. on Thursday. Yes it's 8 out of 10 cats
does Countdown.
Worth watching if only to see Miss Riley.

Slight correction Curtis old chap; the Countdown show goes out
at 9pm. My appearance is only about 10 minutes so unlikely to go
down as one of the earthshaking events of our island history!!
