Strike Lists

Going forward I am looking for more activity from everyone. I
really don't like the strike system but it does seem to work.
However going forward, instead of us making a list and
announcing to everyone who hasn't done the previous task, I or
one of the other co leaders will private message you to let you
know you have missed the task and have received a strike.
Thoughts?
Like the idea?

Yeah true, but I think strike system is letting us know who is
really active with this group.

I don't particularly like the strike system either,
but it's important to make sure everyone is doing tasks.

This is a good idea. Private messages will be more
effective.Plus, they can respond back about why they missed the
task (if it's reasonable)

tthe strike list is an effective tool I grant you that. But I
think we need a transitional. For people to get used to the new
system of keeping up with the task and commenting on all of the
forums. Maybe if we get a waiver or warning to alert us to do
things that we are missing that may help. I myself started a
little late because I found it a bit odd to look up things on
this site. I know it seems simple to other people but I am still
having problems. I don't know if others are having problems like
I do or whether they would admit it if they did or not :-\.
I'm not saying it's not a good idea I am just saying this is my
opinion

Not that I don't want a warning system, but there should be a
limit to the number of warnings you can get. There shouldn't be
members who have warnings for a month. 1-3 warning should be
enough. But I agree there should be something like this. Not
everyone is used to the strike system and needs an adjustment.
