Addicted? GET HELP!

You may know my brother-in-law passed away quite recently.
Although his death was ruled "natural causes," we suspect there
was nothing really "natural" about the ultimate cause. My
sister found out this summer that he has been addicted to an
over-the-counter medication and abusing it for years. He was an
alcholic prior to that. His wife and his son both begged him,
but he refused to seek help.
Now, the kids do not have their dad to see them graduate college
or get married or bring home grandchildren. My sister is a
widow far too young. He loved the addiction more than he loved
himself or his family. It is tragically too late for him.
If you are reading this, it is not too late for you. YOU are
the only one who can make the choice to get help. YOU ARE
WORTHY of healing and wholeness. Don't ever doubt that! If you
know someone who is addicted, LOVE that person as much as you
can, until he or she learns to love themselves.

Ms. Sheryl is a longtime standing friend of mine. I know her
only wish is to see her family and friends happy. I hope that
out of all of this tragedy her family can find a renewed hope.
Maybe this will bond them tighter together so that they don't
allow things like this to slip away from them ever again. My
prayers are with them and my hopes and dreams for their happy
futures. I cannot imagine how it would be to grow up without a
dad. And my heart goes out for them. Stay strong Ms. Sheryl you
are the rock that holds them down. God is looking over your
shoulders want you to believe that. And I know he is smiling
