We haven't had many participants,of course compared to the

some users have already posted their ideas on what to support
and such.
Some ideas may include -

Now after these ideas, I would like to know why you have chosen
to support this idea.
Give me your reason on doing so, and if any experience you've
had,(If you're comfortable to share, just not very personal)
Then you're free to do so - either way, your task will be
complete.
NOTE:
Don't forget, our forum is caringangels.createaforum.com and you
can find these topics themselves there in the Supports/Causes
forum. We will be using Both the blogs and forums, and every
time you complete a task, you will get a badge on the forum.

I relate to bullying. Even now I am still bullied a little bit
by one girl and I have learned words hurt but some words hurt
worst! But I learned to be the bigger person about a year ago
and now she doesn't bother me that much and I only hang out with
my true friends and not the ones who bully.

The reason why i support endangered species is because they have
the right to live. Animals don't even hurt us! They are
magnificent creatures that don't deserve to be extinct. Why dont
some people show respect to these animals, they are just like us
humans.I want the future generations to be able to experience
the same great wildlife that we have.

I Support Gay Marriage Because Male/female Should Be Able To
Choose Who They Want To Be With.
So What If Your Gay!
You Should Be Proud Of Yourself. (:
Don't Let Any One Bring You Down With That Word.
That Word Also Means Happy.

I also support bullying because people dont have the right to
pick on others! You cant treat others rudely, treat people with
respect! Victims don't deserve to suffer. Victims suffer so much
that they even decide to commit suicide. How would you bullies
feel if you were getting picked on? Some bullies just start to
pick on others because it has happened to themselves too,and
that's not right. Dont think those bullies are right because
their NOT. Don't think your actually ugly,a wimp, weird
etc, because its NOT TRUE. Stand up for your self or at least
tell a friend to :) Dont be scared to tell a teacher, parent,or
guardian. Always ignore the bullies :)

My name is Ivy and I am 19 years old, a college student and a
big sister. I was diagnosed at the age of two with a blood
disorder called aplastic anemia shortly after my other sister
Kenzie was diagnosed with the same disorder. She passed away
August 28, 2010 from advanced stages of aplastic anemia and
stage IV liver cancer. I received a bone marrow transplant when
I was two years old and I was blessed with many years of a truly
wonderful life until age 14 when I came out of remission. Over
the years they have managed to keep my condition under control
with transfusions, dialysis, pain killers and many different
antirejection medications. Because of my condition I have always
been an advent supporter of stem cell research and cancer
research. I have done as much as I physically could by racing to
raise money for cancer awareness, recruiting at many of the
marrow drives there ever I was needed, and donating time on the
cancer ward reassuring patients that were about to undergo
treatment with prayer and a few kind words. Because the cost of
stem cell transplant is so costly most insurances will not pay
for the service or consider it as a last resort. Fortunately I
was blessed to be a match for stem cells from someone who had
heard of my plight during a drive that I was recruiting at. She
never forgot me and two years later when she died pregnant with
her first child she donated the stem cells from her child's cord
blood to me. I recently underwent chemotherapy and radiation
March 4, 2013 in order to prepare my body to receive a new
chance at life.. The logic of receiving stem cells from any
unrelated donor is that the new stem cells will create a new
immune system and correct my own stem cells so that my red cells
and platelets will be healthy and not week. There are so many
ways for people to donate stem cells other than have a baby. The
processes are not difficult and are very important for people
just like me. It takes a few hours of your time if you are
between 18 and 49 and have not had cancer or any blood disorders
yourself. And it is no more painful then donating a unit of
blood. So every chance that I get an even now since I have
nearly recovered. I still support stem cell research and cancer
awareness. I feel like it is my purpose to educate and give
their little gift of life to others by helping with recruitment
and fundraising. Cancer is something that affects so many of us
in different walks of life. It doesn't care what age you are. Or
what nationality you are. Were even your preferences in life. We
all know someone who has been affected by cancer and we have
felt their pain through their words and the looks in their eyes.
Together we have the power to help, the power to heal, I will
always lend my support and allow more people to join the
registry, just to give more patients hope for cure. I have seen
so many of my friends at the hospital struggle to survive some
made it some did not. But either way it was amazing to witness
their incredible faith. And I met someone here who was amongst
the few who were an absolute inspiration to me.. Romans 8:31
says "what, then, shall we say in response to these things? If
God is for us, who will be against us? "God's plans and purpose
for us are so great that nothing, not even cancer can be against
us. And this person is truly proof of that. Please take a minute
to look up this website and read the information that it has to
tell you and pray about how you can help. Would you consider
joining the registry at 18 were raising funds at your school to
help make a financial contribution. We all have the gift of life
is just up to us to use it. Again I would like to say thank you
all for your generous prayers that you sent to me during my time
of need. I appreciated and my family appreciates it. Thanks for
reading this and God bless
Ivy Herring

please forgive me I made a typo...... and I didn't know it until
it was too late.
The lady who donated her child's stem cells to me did not die. I
meant to say a different word sorry.
