Animal abuse

This topic has bothered me for a while. Whenever I see animals
tied up around telephone poles by their leashes, stuck in a hot
car without the windows down or anything else along those lines
makes me upset. Also, when animals are in circuses or forced to
fight (chickens, dogs, etc.) they're treated very poorly. In
circuses, the animals are often whipped until they get their
routine right. In dog fights, they have to train the animals so
they're always aggressive and ready to fight. They get hurt in
the fights and sometimes never recover. Puppy mills are also a
form of animal abuse. Puppies are forced to breed. There was
actually a puppy store in my town that used puppy mills as a way
of getting more puppies there. People started standing outside
with picket signs in protest once they found out. I'm not saying
that by supporting this you should let the animals go, maybe
talk to their owners if you can find them and tell them that
putting their dog around a pole or locked in a car is hurtful.
It could make a difference.
