Welcome to the Classified/Auction section on "Canadian Poultry
Classified and Auctions". This post will help you get started in
placing your first Auction. All ads and Auctions are free to
place. There is a two week time limit placed on all ads and
auctions. This time limit is used to help to keep all cads and
auctions in a current state. If your item has not sold in that
time, please feel free to re-list your item.
       Step One:
Click on the Classified item in the menu bar at the top of the
       page
       Step Two:
Choose One of the Categories on the page that has Auctions on
       the end of it.
       Step Three:
Click on the "Add Auction" button
       Step Four:
Choose an approbate title for your auction. Choose keywords that
will help people find your auction when they do a search on this
site. Type in any information that you think may help buyers
choose your item. If availabale ad pictures to your listing.
       Step Five:
Type in a Description of your items. Give as much information
as you can. This is where you should mention how you will ship,
shipping cost, who pays shipping, and any other restrictions,
       etc.
       Step Six:
Choose a Staring Price. The starting price should be the lowest
possible price you would take for your item. If no one bids
more then your reserve price you may go back to swee who bid and
be able to contact that person to see if they want to take it
       for the price thee bid.
       Step Seven:
Choose a Reserve Price. This is the lowest price you would
like. It may be the same as the starting price or higher.
Should not be to much higher then starting price or people will
       be discourage to bid.
       Step Eight:
Choose a Buy it Now Price. If the buyer agree to this price the
       Auction is over.
       Step Nine:
Choose a Shipping Price. This is optional. You may have a set
price that will be charge for a shipping container ( Box, Dog
Crate, etc) that you charge for every item. This cost is added
on to the buyer's bid. You should make a note of this in your
item description so the buyer will know this amount will be
       added to his bid.
       Step Nine:
Choose a Bid Increment. This is how much the bidder must add to
his new bid, above the previous bid. I generally set it at $1.
       Step Ten:
If you have a PayPal account add your address to the Paypal
Address listing. People will then be able to pay you directly
       through PayPal.
       Step Eleven.
Click on the Add Auction button .
       Step Twelve:
After you click on the Add Auction button the next screen will
give you the opportunity to add pictures to your Auction. You
may add up to 4 pictures to each of your Classifieds/Auctions.
NOTE: I will deal with how to add pictures in another post.
