Arnold smiled as the Froslass gave the noctowl a bright gaze and
waved a little. A little hum seemed to emanate from the small
pokemon. "Yes she jumped out at me during a little vacation to
the north side, well she was a snorunt...and then I got a really
good price on this funny stone, turns out when she got around it
she evolved. I was so surprised..." he said and laughed a bit.
Freya moved towards Farrah weightlessly. She held her "hand" up
towards Farrah with a thoughtful gaze.

Farrah gently grabbed the extended limb and shook it like a
handshake. "When we get to the league I'll let you meet the
rest of my team," she said to Arnold and the Froslass. Noctowl
hooted in happiness when she discovered that this pokemon was
more friendly towards others.

The Froslass had a smile in her eyes. She shifted back and stood
next to Arnold again. "Well speaking of the league, shall we go
on? Time is money like my dad says..." he said and looked to
Freya who looked happy to be out and about. She started off
whimsically and hummed some more with a spin. "Well um...seems
she's ready to go.."

"Yeah, we're ready to go," Farrah said smiling towards Noctowl
who hooted in agreement. "Lead the way, Noctowl," Farrah said
and with that the Noctowl flew from her shoulder and continued
on the way they had been going.

Arnold decided to strike up some conversation. "So how old are
you and where are you coming from?" he asked with a smiled.
Froslass still holding onto his hand lightly. Her grip was
chilling but Arny was used to it by now. "I'm from Pallet Town
myself..." Freya swung her arms happily as they wandered on, her
nature being quite a jolly one.

"I'm sixteen and I grew up in New Bark Town, although I spend
most of my time in Goldenrod City," she explained. "My little
brother, Ethan, is learning to become a Pokemon breeder there."
"So how's it like Kanto? I've been there a couple of times for
training and gym battles, but never stayed longer than a month
or two," she said after.

"Yeah, I'm 15, don't have any brothers and sister, but my friend
sorta counts...we still do pretty much everything today..." he
mused and smiled while Freya moved up a bit quicker with her
gliding steps. Arnold watched her idly as she tried to jump up
and catch Noctowl above.
"Ah Kanto's pretty nice, but a lot of my relatives are in Johto
so I'm over there a lot...but yeah actually you know Koga? He's
in the elite four now...I used to know his daughter really well
and she became the gym leader so now I visit her a lot..." he
said and nodded.

Noctowl flew up just as she jumped for her, causing her to be
out of reach. Noctowl hooted a laughter and flew around the ice
pokemon before leading the way once more.
"Oh yeah, I remeber her... Er... What was her name again?"
Farrah pondered the thought for a while before coming up blank.
"That must have been an interesting battle against Koga."

The Froslass finding herself at a loss for a way to get that
pesky owl gave up and decided to just waft along with ease. She
spun and swayed without a care and giggled in her unusual way.
Arnold laughed at the show and shook his head.
"Yeah it's been a while, her name's Janine, she's a really tough
girl...first time we battled she kicked my butt..." he said and
grinned a bit with sigh. "Oh well in the end I managed to defeat
the pokemon league so it's all a part of growing right?"

Noctowl looked back at the Froslass, she knew she had to lead
the group first and play later.
"Ah, Janine! Yes! That's it!" Farrah snapped her finger in
remembrance. "Our battle was close, both of us where down to
our last pokemon, but I won. I had more experience, because I
had already beaten all the gym leaders in Johto. Kanto is a lot
tougher."
