Virtual Rewards 2.0!

As a thank you to cache hiders worldwide, Geocaching HQ is
introducing Virtual Rewards 2.0! We are inviting all qualified
cache hiders to sign up for a chance to create a new Virtual. We
plan to randomly select up to 4,000 qualified geocachers (with
geographic distribution). All Virtuals must meet the Virtual
Reward guidelines . Follow the link below to see if you qualify!
If you own more than one geocaching account, please apply only
with one account.
Where do I start?

[li]To request a Virtual cache, check your eligibility[/li]
[li]If eligible, submit your request by June 1, 2019[/li]
[li]June 4, Geocaching HQ will perform a randomized drawing to
distribute the Virtuals and email winners directly[/li]
[/list]
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:

[li]Virtual Reward: You did not receive a previous Virtual
Reward.[/li]
[li]Ownership: You must own at least two active non-event
geocaches.[/li]
[li]Hidden: You must own at least one geocache published within
the past four years (May 14, 2015 to May 14, 2019).[/li]
[li]Activity: You must have posted a log on a geocache within
the past four months.[/li]
[li]Quality: Your owned geocaches must have at least 25 total
Favorite points.[/li]
[/list]

Now THIS is something I’m exited about and think is worth doing
;D
Interesting to hear on the GCHQ podcast that they considered
doing this with Webcams, but decided not to because of privacy
laws.

Great news. Team wrighty have been granted a Virtual Reward 2.0.
Have somewhere in mind but wont be a cache and dash though :D

Saw the notification, what a great place for a Virtual.
I’m stuck in Cambridge for a couple more weeks now, so I’ll find
it when I get back :)
