Banbury.
Plenty of parking uphill and downhill of the Banbury Cross and
'Fine Lady' statue.
Not sure of times for parking (Parking meters) for any 'free'
parking. eg free after 6.00pm

At the time we get there, there should be plenty close by ;D

Yes, but it won't be official in your stats - but you could
still brag about it - I'm sticking to 11 :D
I should be bringing little cards like I did for the "Leap Frog"
event to advertise CacheWalker and the forums? What do you
think?

We will be wearing our new t-shirts,they look nice with the
trackable bug on the back so we can be discovered, but
unfortunately the printer made the orange part of the logo
red!,looks a nice colour but it's not quite right! ;)

Just got back from doing the fifth ring of the marathon series,
did the other 4 on Thursday.
I recorded the distance I walked as 30 miles in total over 14.5
hours. I returned to the car after each ring for refreshments so
someone else may be able to cut a couple of miles and an hour
off that total by going straight from one ring to the next.
Parked in Turville for B/C/D (by the green), Fingest for E (by
the church) and Hambledon for A (the free car park).
Quite a few steep hills to climb and quite a lot of muddy
sections.

Parking for the CITO:
I think the idea is that cachers walk :o from the Mega/town
centre to the CITO over the railway and from there back to where
their transport is.
I'm parking at the P&R (51°43.755'N, 1°14.929'W) £1.50/day and
£1.70 for the bus into the town centre but I might not be using
the bus.
If you want free, try 51°44.205'N, 1°14.454'W which is rough
ground parking suggested for GC12CVG or street parking in New
Hinskey but I know there is a lot of resident parking only.
South Hinskey is very poor for parking with narrow roads but
there is a few spaces by the CITO co-ordinates but these may be
taken by residents. It was parking for the now closed pub, I've
used it for the cache on the footbridge GC3A76J which was placed
from a boat :o :D
