North West Mega 2012

With the date fast approaching, it's about time we got some
discussion going on about it! Is anyone planning to go?

PS - That's odd, thought it was earlier! We were meant to be
going on holidays then, thankfully we haven't booked anything...
but much later than I thought!

I will be attending as I couldn't make it last year due to being
on Scout Camp.
Omis & myself are travelling up on Friday 10th and returning
home on Monday 13th. I would have loved to have gone for the
week to attend all the events but unfortunately I am on Scout
camp again the week before and cannot have too much time off
work in one go plus Omis is in Australia for 4 weeks at the
moment so has limited holidays left.

I hope to have nine days but some will not been in the area of
the Mega, as I'm picking up some special caches on route (well,
going north sort of route!)

We've had our hotel booked since last summer (our usual one in
Ambleside), going up on Friday, returning Sunday evening.

BUMP - waking a quiet thread up as the big week gets closer ;D
I'm hoping to go up there a bit like JJ, by that I mean; go up
on the Friday come back on the Sunday, most likely camping those
two nights. I'd love to attend all the events, as they all look
top class. Problem is, we're going to Spain (yes, Barcelona -
more photos for Where in the World ;) :D) on the Tuesday, so
the timing is very, very tight, and this may prevent me
attending at all :'(
Guessing this site is going to be very very quiet during that
time; with no walktall, tarmacjohn or me :D

I'm setting off on the 3rd August but will not get to The Lake
District till 7th Tuesday ::)

The D/T grid stuff is going to happen in the Lake District -
hopefully
I'm on other challenges before the Lake District ;D
