Skittles event 2015 (past event)

Continuing discussion from the Shoutbox...
Maybe it'd be good to have one in March (or before?)
Snowshill Arms was a good venue last time. Could make it another
social evening event?
Thoughts?

How about Friday 12th February from 7pm at the Snowshill Arms
???
Would anyone prefer a different date, or even venue - don't be
shy to say :)
Decided to avoid March as there are other events set to take
place in the area around then ;)

@griff grof - I think you'll find that it's Friday the 13th :o
A few of us are off to London the previous Saturday but I'm OK
with that. Will the Snowshill Arms be busy with it being a
Friday?

Whoops, misread the calendar!
Okay, if anyone's not okay with it then please do say! :)
I'll check with the pub once we agree on a date and if there's
an issue will say - guess it depends if the skittle alley
function room is booked or not!

Hmm...
Well, we can organise it for another night that week, or the
following Friday since it's out of term-time ???
OR that weekend, not the Saturday since it's Valentines Day and
people may be busy, but the Sunday ???

Are Sunday evenings odd times to hold an event like this - i.e.
from 6:30pm, or we could start earlier ???
How about Sunday 8th or Sunday 15th?

Personally, Sunday evenings are a great time for me. Often
during Sunday daytimes we have football to attend, plus shopping
and other boring house stuff to do, so evenings work well. Just
not too late though because of work the next morning.

Good for me as well, don't normally do much on Sundays. I
wouldn't worry too much about trying to please me though as most
of my plans are work related and happen at the last minute.

Not the 8th Feb for me, due to being in London all day the day
before, caching :)
