You are on the Ridge Way close to the White Horse on Hackpen
Hill on the edge of the Marlborough Downs. In the valley below
is the Winterbournes. ;D

Difficult to see pictures on the Blackberry when the electric is

Just in case Walktall is not correct and I missed out on
identifying the Shard due to computer playing up just because I
pressed the wrong buttons.

Not the ridge way :o And Winterbournes isn't what I was
thinking either, though you could argue that it is as you get
further out :o You've got the Hackpen Hill bit though ;D

White Horse Trail?
PS In fact this trail runs along part of the Ridgeway.

This may sound daft but are you sure as I've checked out some
pictures and I've got one that was taken at #1 Temple Bottom
cache which is on the Ridge Way and has the same kink in the
track and has the same lump on the horizon in the background?

It is White Horse Trail, which does run along part of the
ridgeway, but this wasn't quite there yet ;) Accoridng to the
way marks when we were there, the ridgeway officially starts
later on.. After the #1 Temple Bottom cache.
You've got the general area, so ding, over to you walk tall ;D

Looking on an OS map, the ridge way runs up to Barbury Hill &
well beyond and the cache description says "One of a series of
36 caches around Temple Bottom starting and ending at Hackpen
Hill on the Ridgeway" :)
OK, I find another picture soon :D
