Ding, correct foraging 5. The clue was in the background, the
A-Bomb Dome.
This is the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
The closest structure is the Memorial Cenotaph which has a
coffin with a scroll in it of all the people who died from the
A-Bomb, estimate at 140,000 people.
Behind it is the Peace Flame which has continually burned since
1964 and will remain lit until the planet is free from the
threat of nuclear annihilation.
And in the background is the A-Bomb Dome, the skeletal ruins of
the former Industrial Promotion Hall. It is the building closest
to the hypocenter of the nuclear bomb that remained at least
partially standing. It was left how it was after the bombing in
memory of the casualties.
The saddest thing was the Children's Peace Monument with all the
folded paper cranes round it. The statue is based on the true
story of Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who died from radiation
from the bomb. She believed that if she folded 1,000 paper
cranes she would be cured.
Promise my next one will be more local ::)

Correct.... and yes we spent the whole day in @Bristol including
a show in the planetarium. Well worth a visit if some of you
haven't been there.
