Could be near the D Day museum in Southsea (Portsmouth)?
We ran there as well........ only 30 metres or so from the car
after it started to pour with rain!

Was windy when I was there, the sea was coming over the road
along the front, had noticed a few likely cache possibilities,
when I had a call to go and collect someone from Aldershot!
So much for trying to find a cache whilst working...
