       Can't see the pic [member=4]tarmacjohn[/member] ???
So looks to be heavy rain all day, and there has now been a
nation-wide severe weather warning issued, including
       Monmouthshire :o
I'm wondering if it would still be sensible to go ahead with the
event (safety), plus surely we don't want to go for a torturous
climb up, the visibility is moderate - which means we'd miss out
on the views. And we'd probably be too fed up to go to the
Blorenge. So is it worth everyone's fuel/effort?
Don't want this to turn in to the 2012 Birthday Picnic, but
worse as we're a lot higher, and we'll be further from parking.
Don't know what GS rules are about canceling events, but I'd be
inclined to postpone it as there's good weather either side of
this weekend, and if we're going to do it surely we may as well
do it right ??? Or maybe it doesn't matter, but It likely won't
be as enjoyable as it could be been :-\

And I can now see TJ's screenshot and his weather service seems
       a lot more promising than BBC/Met Office's :D

Looking at the weather now, maybe we could push the event back
       by an hour ???
Light rain/sunny spell at 11am with good visibility, and then
light cloud with good visibility until 2pm. At 10am, pure heavy
rain and Moderate visibility. So at least it seems to be try for
some of it with a chance to see the views :)
Are you still planning on going to the Blorenge? It'd be a shame
if we don't, keeping in mind the distance/fuel to get there but
the weather has other ideas after 2pm - all subject to change
       though :-\
"Thundery showers, with localised torrential downpours and hail
are likely at times. However there will also be drier and
brighter intervals. Remaining humid and warm."
       :o :o :o

SUN AND LIGHT CLOUD FOR 13:00
       Visibility 'Very Good' 11:00-14:00
Will we push depart back until 11am or endure the supposed heavy
rain for an hour? (edit - now light rain):
Still heading to the Blorenge etc after?
