There looks to be a concrete slab with a hole underneath, how
about a staircase to a forgotten world.

I've walked past this many many times and hadn't realised it was
here. Now I want to get down there and have a look round, don't
suppose it will be very big but still want to look ;D

Well if its near to where you live WT i guess its a old air raid
shelter of some sort.
