The weather has not stopped a Cachewalker event yet.Was not the
last Twixmas event at a pub nowhere near a A road and the sun
shone.Remember this is England and bad winters are pretty
rare,if we worry about the weather we will get nowhere.
If the last Twixmas attendance is anything to go by then there
will be no room to play table tennis etc.

:D - yes, I'm sure we can maybe match (or beat?!) that turnout
this year :)
Date-wise I'm thinking the Sunday 28th December...? Time wise, I
think 2-2 1/2 hours in the hall is more than enough??
Are we sure the hall is the way to go? If so, who wants to
enquire with them? Time for more thoughts... :)

That's true, my mistake! BUT can't do the 29th as it's my
sister's birthday :-\
Could make it pre-Christmas on 21st/22nd or Twinew on 4th/5th
January, if the 28th isn't good... I suppose weekdays aren't
either, for most, though not for me as on holiday :)
Ah, okay, let us know what they say :) - I suppose they'll have
preferences on the date too?
Sounds like it could be a good event ;D

Will have to be the 29th for us,thats the trouble working in
retail at Christmas :(.
If we do decide on that date and the village hall i will be
happy to set a series. The rest like contacting the relevant
people will have to be done by someone else.
Pre or after Christmas wont be Twixmas :'(

Oh dearrrrrr the 29th would have to be without me :'( Silly
calendar! :D
Not ideal, but would it really matter not being Twixmas-true?
It's a CW event during the festive period after all :)
Otherwise, I'd be happy to help, but won't be able to attend :(

Unfortunately I am going to have to declare myself completely
out of any organizing as I have just started a major project at
work and next week I am starting studying for a degree at Derby
University so spare time is going to be a luxury for the next 12
months by the looks of it. Although I will know more in a couple
of weeks
Sorry. :-\

If we think the hall is a goer, I contact the hall owner and
perhaps make a visit to check it out.
We need to be certain what date we want and how many hours?

That's great, thank you!! :)
Wrighty, which times do you think would be suitable (how long to
be back from the walk) - I reckon around 2-2 1/2 hours in the
hall is enough ???
Date wise it looks like this:
Weekend 21/22 December: No issues, but not Twixmas and more
crucially no leftovers to bring! :D PLUS CWSBC won't have
finished, so prizes couldn't be given :-\
Weekend 28/29 December: Twixmas-true, plenty of leftovers for
people to bring in. But W can't do 28th, GG can't do 29th :-\
Weekend 4/5 January: Twinew, may still have left overs. But
maybe too late with all the festive buzz over.
Maybe best to put a poll on here ???

Any more thoughts? - might get a poll up later to help decide
the date, that way other members can have their say anonymously
too :)
If it falls on 21/22 December we could always end the CWSBC
early. Could still name it Twixmas, or Advent, since that's a
name for the period leading up to Christmas. Of course, problem
here is that no one will have left overs!! :-\
