Events can't be published any sooner than 3 months ahead but
HAVE TO BE published at least two weeks before, so you have
plenty of time yet.
Unless its a special event, a lot of cachers get an Event
published around the 1 month mark before the actual day.
PS Griff - this thread is still s u p e r w i

Thanks.
I will wait until the middle of next month then before I post
some details, that will give me time to investigate pubs (online
I hasten to add!)
Hopefully there will be a geo-cache up and running by then, one
of those where you go around solving the clues etc etc.
Have a good weekend all.

No no no! That is not how it is done at all. A tour of all the
pubs in the area to sample their traditional ales and pressed
apple beverages is what is expected so that the event is hosted
at only the finest of establishments ;)
Only jesting. Worcester is a touch far for me to pop to for an
event, but I am watching this thread and will attend if it is
entirely possible :)

Of course, we could do a tour of the coffee shops instead if you
like ;D ;D ;D

Yes, I agree. I always have a pot of 'proper' coffee on a
Sunday, especially if I am watching a Grand Prix - which I will
be tomorrow.
:)

For me, coffee has it's place ;) often after a long caching walk
whilst I write my logs. But...
Have you thought about doing a breakfast event at a pub? That
actually sounds really appealing to me. Driving to a pub on my
own really means not being able to sample their alcoholic
beverages as much as I would normally like to, and being in a
pub and not doing that feels almost as strange to me as when I
gave up smoking but everyone else smoked in pubs (that was quite
some years ago). However tucking in to a scrumptious breakfast
fry up in a pub before going off to do a few caches in the area
would be awesome, and feel quite normal... even I'm not tempted
to start drinking before around midday ;D
