Second "Week of the Weekly Poll"

Just as promised six months ago, it's time for the next
site-wide festival ;D - The Second Week of the Weekly Poll.
Now, last time it didn't go down like a house on fire BUT we're
giving it a TWIST this time round, so don't be put off by the
same name! :D - So let's celebrate one year of the forum, and
weekly Poll (TODAY was Poll #1 last year!) It's our pleasure to
formally reintroduce CacheWalker's to...
The second [shadow=red,left]Week of the Weekly
Poll[/shadow][shadow=orange,left] - with a twist![/shadow]
What is it?
A site event which runs every six months!
What will happen?
The 51st Weekly Poll is about to be up, along with several new
polls. A new poll will also be posted every day of the week.
Plus, the TWIST (not to do with polls, but perhaps about walks!)
coming very soon ie before Wednesday! ;D
What's the point in doing this? What is it for?
To celebrate the fact that we've kept a new poll coming every
week for a year! To also celebrate the site has been going for
that long. The Weekly Poll has been going since the moment the
site launched, and maybe this site wide event will also
encourage more people to join in every week. Also, this second
incarnation of the Week of the Weekly Poll will focus on
encouraging outstanding forum activity, and the heart of
CacheWalker - walks! :D
Can I help?
Yes please! PM me ideas for all sorts of polls - about
Geocaching, CacheWalker or anything else! It's not too late -
send the PM any time in the week! Also, if you want to see
another surprise pop up in the next Week, then let me know!
So, thanks again, happy birthday CacheWalker forum, and get
voting on lots of polls!

The second [shadow=red,left]Week of the Weekly
Poll[/shadow][shadow=orange,left] - with a twist![/shadow] came
to a close on Saturday.
Results were announced on each polls' thread, so check them to
find out the winners! :)
The twist: PM me a walk you really have enjoyed - you'll soon
understand ;D ...
Some stats from the week: In total, over every poll running, 51
votes were cast ;D ;D - Coincidence! (The 51st Weekly Poll was
published as the week was running) and that's up from 34 votes
at the last WOTWP - great! Not only this but we also managed
to beat our previous Weekly Poll record of 7 votes with 8 votes
(and counting) on the current Weekly Poll poll - thanks all for
voting! Also, in total all the polls were viewed 292 times by
members, which is great!
I think the Week of the Weekly Poll was a bit of fun while it
lasted, celebrating one year of the forum, and encouraging
activity on the site! Will we see another one run in 6 months
time? It's unlikely, it's successor is probably going to be
called the "Festival of Walking", or something along those
lines...
