       How about a CITO event?
By: Griff Grof Date: February 2, 2013, 10:38 am

The 11th Annual CITO weekend is scheduled for April 20 and 21,
       2013.
How about a joint Cotswold Caching and CacheWalker (or one or
the other) event to clean up a messier part of our area of
       outstanding natural beauty?
       Thoughts? ???

A short answer for the moment.. yes I am interested to do
something like this. It has been on my mind for a while to
arrange one of these, but I thought it best to have a stab at a
normal event first, and as you know that will done and dusted
       quite shortly.
Obviously needs a lot more thought, discussion, and input from
others, but if there is a strong interest then count me in on
       whatever we may do.

Where in the area could we hold a CITO, first of all ???
It could be a popular event with the fact that they're so rare
and all seem to be far away :D (plus, it will be CITO weekend
so some will be wanting the souvenir!)

Can't think of the name of the place, it is the country park
       where Glourious Gloucestershire is.

Crickley Hill Country Park, I think ???
Sounds good. A nice location. But is there any litter there?
Don't make it be like the Geolympix CITO which hardly had
       anything to pick up :D
In theory CITO's take more planning as you have to talk to the
land owners/council... Do you have a rapport with them, walk
tall, due to the Glorious Gloucestershire and your picnic
       event??

I've not seen much of an issue with litter at Crickley Hill. I
can ask the Rangers there if we feel it would be a good site and
find out if there is an issue with litter?
